Will the Flu Shot Actually Do Anything?

The government says everybody need to get the flu shot each year.  However does it work?  Is it safe?  And do we really require it?

One very reliable option to find out the effectiveness of the flu shot is to glance at the database analysis presented by The Cochrane Collaboration, motivated number of scientists who possess no link to any industry or government agencies.  After studying all associated with the data on the flu shot, they have concluded so it really doesn’t work very well.  It does not even cover most of the flu infections that people get.

For specific populations, I do think a influenza shot is necessary.  For those who are debilitated, people who have respiratory or developmental problems, as well as for people who are prone to getting very sick and might die through the flu, I’m sure it is you should get the shot.  It may not work that well, but it provide some help to those populations.

However for anybody else, I do not think the flu shot is needed.  I know this goes against government guidelines, and I also know there’s a lot of controversy concerning it.  But I encourage you to definitely do your own homework.  Check the blog that I had written that substantially documents the science behind the reason why the flu shots do not work and in our opinion, they are doing, and exactly why they might be harmful.

Here is one dirty little secret concerning flu shot: it has mercury.  Most of the flu shots that are administered into the US come from multi-dose vials, which have multiple flu shots in one single little vial.  To preserve it, they add mercury or Thimerosal.  A collective dose of Thimerosal over a lifetime may have a negative impact on your own health, because mercury is a known toxic.  It causes immune neurologic and problems like dementia, memory issues, and other problems. And, if you’re going to get the flu shot, ensure that it comes from a single-dose vial, that does not have Thimerosal inside it.

Retain information:

  1. The flu shot doesn’t work well, and there are actually lots of other things you’re able to do in order to remain healthy.
  2. It might probably contain mercury, so if you do get the shot, be sure prevent the kind that comes in a multi-dose vial with Thimerosal added.
